CCAA offering AI Microcredential Course This Fall

CACC Now Offering Affordable AI Microcredential Course This Fall

Alexander City, AL – July 17, 2026 - Central Alabama Community College (CACC) is excited to
announce a new AI Microcredential course available for the Fall 2026 semester. This accessible
program is in high-demand and designed to equip individuals with practical AI skills to drive
business growth.

The 9-week online course runs from August 31 to November 1, 2026. Delivered 100% online, it
offers flexibility for working professionals and traditional students. The course is priced at an
affordable $99 and offered as a non-credit opportunity through CACC Workforce Development.
No prerequisites are required.

“Our economy is rapidly evolving, and AI literacy is an essential skill to have in every type of
industry,” said CACC President Jeff Lynn. “This AI Microcredential will help productivity in
manufacturing, healthcare, education, and small business.”

This new course offering aligns with CACC’s commitment to workforce development by
delivering training that meets the needs of regional employers across Central Alabama.
