Pell City Doubles Fireworks Display for Historic America 250 Celebration

In honor of America's 250th birthday, the City Council for the City of Pell City has doubled the size of its annual Fireworks Extravaganza. The historic show will serve as the centerpiece for "Lights Over Logan Martin",a family-friendly community gathering scheduled for July 4, 2026, at the Pell City Sports Complex.The event begins at 5 p.m., and admission is free for everyone. The once-in-a-generation fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. over Logan Martin Lake.

In addition to the expanded fireworks display, the Pell City Sports Complex will host a designated Kids Zone, food trucks, and music from the main stage. Attendees can also visit various booths to secure free promotional items from participating sponsors.

This historic event is supported by the State of Alabama through the America 250 Alabama program. The City of Pell City extends its appreciation to the anchor sponsors making this celebration possible:
