Celebrate the Family Expo Announces Expanded Kids’ Zone, Entertainment Lineup, and New Sponsors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The 7th Annual Celebrate the Family Expo, brought to you by White Lily, is adding even more family fun to this year’s free event, set for Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Finley Center, Hoover Met Complex.

The Expo is designed to bring families together for a day of free fun while connecting them with businesses, ministries, and nonprofit organizations that serve families throughout the Birmingham area. Guests can also enjoy food trucks, giveaways, product samples, exhibitor activities, and resources throughout the four-hour event. The first 200 families to arrive will also receive free swag bags filled with items families can enjoy and use.

Newly announced for the 2026 Expo is the Wonders Center & Science Museum Kids’ Zone, where families can enjoy kid-focused activities as part of an expanded entertainment lineup. Other free activities throughout the day will include FabUbus face painting, a Hattie’s Toyland craft station, Nunu’s Balloons balloon twisting, Iron City Rental Co. inflatables, mascots, and live entertainment from Magic City Big Band.

Come hungry! Eugene’s Hot Chicken and Lil’ Bougie food trucks are among the latest additions to the Expo and will be serving up favorites for guests throughout the event.

A crowd favorite returning for 2026 is the ALFA Farmers Celebrity Chef Stage, featuring a full lineup of celebrity chefs offering cooking demonstrations, helpful tips and samples throughout the day. This year’s lineup includes:
