Museum of Pell City Presents: Salute to Service
The Museum of Pell City will celebrate Veterans as we host a community event in their honor. The event will feature brief addresses from two distinguished former Veterans: Brigadier General Robert L. Homes from the United States Air Force and Van Posey Sr. from the United States Marines and Army National Guard. We will also hear remarks from our local St. Clair County Veterans Outreach Administrator, Gregory Bailey. Following these
presentations, the museum will unveil our expanded Veterans exhibit, along with a new exhibit showcasing local child actor and Veteran, Houston Tumlin. The event will conclude with refreshments generously provided by Union State Bank.

About Us:
The Museum of Pell City is a nonprofit organization formed in 2021. We are located on the second floor of the Pell City Municipal Complex. Our goal is to preserve the rich history of the Pell City and provide educational opportunities through our exhibits and oral history studio. Our museum begins with the history of Alabama through the state's bicentennial exhibit donated by the Alabama Humanities Alliance. Following this, Pell City shines a spotlight on its own narrative of growth and transformation. The Museum hosts collections of artifacts, artwork, photographs, and narratives detailing both triumphs and challenges.
