DESCRIPTION:The Cary Center and Dr. Emilie Socash\, Founder and CEO of the Nonprofit Help Center\, to Provide FREE Virtual Training for Nonprofits\n\nThe Auburn University College of Human Sciences' Cary Center for the Advancement of\n\nPhilanthropy and Nonprofit Studies will feature Dr. Emilie Socash\, Founder and CEO of the Nonprofit Help Center\, in a virtual program\, titled "Courageous Self Care: Nurture Your\n\nCapacity\, Your Career\, & Your Self-Compassion\," which will take place on Thursday\, July 11\, 2024\, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CST via Zoom. Registration is FREE but required and can be\n\nmade at: http://www.linktr.ee/carycenterau.\n\n\n\nEmilie founded the Nonprofit Help Center in 2018\, after working in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years. She holds a masters in nonprofit management and a doctoral degree in organizational\n\nand leadership psychology\, and her doctoral dissertation focused on psychological factors related to donor behavior. In 2021\, her company launched the Merit  Nonprofit Professional\n\nDevelopment platform\, an online capacity-building system that is designed just for nonprofit teams\, which now supports over 400 nonprofits (and the thousands of people who work at them)\n\nnationwide. She has published two books on personal mission statement development\, and works to use her words to improve the world.
