DESCRIPTION:Pell City Chamber Lunch & Learn\n\n \n\nWe suggest early reservations due to limited seating. \n\nThe purpose of this Chamber program is to provide informative and educational seminars that are relevant to starting\, operating\, managing\, and growing our member businesses. \n\n\n\nGuest Speaker: Claudia Wilson\, Alabama Department of Labor\n\n"Understading Wage & Labor Laws"\n\n\n\nClaudia Wilson is the Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist for the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division in Alabama. In this role\, she works with stakeholders and the public to educate about the laws enforced by the agency and helps direct strategic enforcement efforts. Claudia previously served as an Outreach and Marketing Specialist and the Public Information Officer for the U.S. Small Business Administration Arkansas District Office\, where she educated small business owners and entrepreneurs about the SBA's programs and coordinated all communications from the SBA within the state. Prior to joining federal service in 2020\, she worked for nearly 10 years in health care\, including as an Emergency Medical Technician and caring for individuals with disabilities and psychiatric diagnoses. Claudia holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.\n\n\n\nThe cost of the program is FREE to Chamber Members and $10 for Non-Members.
