This is event is FREE but seating is limited and registration is required. Our guest speaker is the Pell City Hope Squad. \n\n \n\n\nThe Pell City School System launched Alabama's first Hope Squad last year\, initially at Williams Intermediate School and Duran High School. This year\, Hope Squad has expanded to the high school level. The program relies on peer-nominated members and their trained advisors to identify students in need and connect them with trusted adults for support. Additionally\, Hope Squad fosters awareness\, reduces stigma\, and works to create a more positive school environment.\n\nHope Squads aim to prevent youth suicide through education\, training\, and peer intervention. Squad members are nominated by their peers for being trustworthy and are trained by advisors to help their classmates effectively.
